About

ALGORERHYTHM is a loud, fast, no-bullshit rock band forged in the neon grit of Las Vegas, Nevada. This hard-hitting three-piece—Tom Nieves (bass/vocals), Skarlett (guitar/vocals), and Brian (drums/vocals)—delivers an adrenaline-charged sound that blends punk energy, heavy metal edge, and a sharp-witted critique of the modern world.

Since their inception, ALGORERHYTHM has carved out a unique space in the Vegas scene, playing everywhere from the Dive Bar and Evel Pie to Tuscany Suites and the Redwood Bar & Grill in Los Angeles. Their live shows are visceral and unrelenting, built to jolt audiences into motion. As the band says: “We want people off the bar stools and into the pit.”

Their music reflects this attitude. Tracks like “Bullshit” rip through personal boundaries and societal fakery with driving riffs and raw vocals, while songs like “Social Genocide” offer blistering commentary on modern technology and disconnection. The single was featured in Alt77, which praised it as “equal parts protest anthem and pit-starter,” and ExpansionRadial called it “an unfiltered gut punch against curated digital culture.”

In a review from Lelahel Metal, the band’s work was described as “raging, honest, and completely without pretense,” adding that ALGORERHYTHM “has a sound that doesn’t beg for attention—it grabs it by the throat.” That same intensity carries into their visuals: the official video for “Bullshit,” directed by bassist/vocalist Tom Nieves, captures their raw DIY aesthetic and frantic live energy in full color.

Beyond their music, ALGORERHYTHM embraces a fiercely independent ethos. From screen-printing their own merch to booking regional tours supporting bands like The Angry Toons (Oakland, CA), the group has made it clear—they're not waiting for permission. Their brand of rock and roll is about living loud, telling the truth, and throwing one hell of a party while doing it.

Whether it's a Deadhead-themed blowout in Vegas or a sweaty dive bar in Tucson, ALGORERHYTHM brings the same heat to every room. With a growing discography, a strong local following, and a reputation for delivering both thought and thrash, they’re more than just another desert rock band—they’re a wake-up call with amps.

As they put it: “We have a van, and we’ll come ruin your night—in the best way possible.”
